The New York Cocktail is a lot like a Whiskey Sour, although the sweetness of adding Grenadine balances out the tartness of the lemon juice. We're left with a taste that's big, bold and deserving of the city's name. It's up to you, New York, New York....
Ingredients
2 ounces of Whiskey
1 ounce of lemon juice
1 tsp. of sugar
1/2 ounce of Grenadine
Lemon twist for garnish
Directions
Add the Whiskey, lemon juice, sugar & Grenadine into a shaker with ice.
Give it a good shake.
Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
