It's been noted that the Vespers Martini started out as a fictional drink in the 1953 Ian Fleming book, "Casino Royale." But don't all cocktails start out as a work of fiction? It's up to us to give them life, right? The best part? You don't have to be a British secret agent to enjoy this martini!
Ingredients
3 ounces of Gin (!!!)
1 ounce of Vodka
.5 ounces of Dry Vermouth
Directions
Combine all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake...don't stir. This is 007's martini. Do it for him...
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with a lemon peel.
Enjoy...but keep looking over your shoulder.
