The Grumpy Dingo Radio Big Willie Cocktail

There's a cocktail known as "The Big Texan" in some circles. But who, in Texas, is bigger than Willie Nelson? Nobody. So we decided to alter the drink slightly and call it "The Big Willie." Just make sure you don't get "On The Road Again" after you have one, 'cuz the Big Willie packs a big whallup. Now let's get strummin'. I mean, mixin'.

Ingredients

3 ounces of Bourbon

2 ounces of grapefruit juice

1/2 ounce of honey

2 basil leaves

Directions

• Combine all the ingredients, including the basil leaves in a shaker with ice.

• Shake well. There are basil leaves in that shaker and they need to have their flavor unlocked.

• Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a slice of grapefruit, a cherry, or both.

• Sip and pray the Whiskey River don't run dry...
