The Buckeye Martini is the unofficial drink of Ohio...but we gotta say, it needs to be made the official state drink because it's delightful. Essentially, it's a gin martini with black olives. But those black olives impart a whole new flavor & dimension. A small change makes a big difference.
Ingredients
3 ounces of Gin
1/2 ounce of Dry Vermouth
Black Olives for garnish...and flavor!!
Directions
Combine the Gin, Dry Vermouth & a few black olives into a shaker with ice.
Stir. Do not shake. Stir.
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with fresh black olives.
Sip and think of Ohio.
