Does a Cherry Lime Margarita reek of restaurant-chain commercialism? Sure. But much like "deep fried bacon potato skins" or "ultimate ice cream pie shooters", it's SO tasty. That's why we'll go to a "TG-whatever's"...but we'll park in back. Let's get mixing!
Tequila - 2 ounces
Cherry Liqueur - 1ounce
Lime Juice - 1 ounce
Maraschino Cherry Juice - 1 tablespoon
Coarse salt and sugar to rim the glass
Maraschino cherries and lime wedge for garnish
Wet the rim of the glass with lime juice and coat in a coarse salt/sugar mixture.
Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Strain into a glass.
Garnish with Maraschino cherries and a lime wedge.
