The traditional Whiskey Sour was created in the late 1800's by a genius who's name has disappeared into the ether. But his legend, and more importantly his cocktail, lives on and has taken many forms including the Cranberry Whiskey Sour. Now that we're done bowing our heads and paying our respects to this unknown mastermind, let's get mixin'!
Ingredients
3/4 oz lemon juice 3/4 oz simple syrup 1 1/2 oz whiskey 3 oz cranberry juice
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake your groove thang.
Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry, an orange slice or some cranberries. You pick. Surprise us.
