The Grumpy Dingo Radio Dirty Shirley Cocktail

The Shirley Temple mocktail was created by a restaurant bartender in West Hollywood specifically for 10 year old actress Shirley Temple. Flash forward many decades to the Dirty Shirley...a very simple cocktail. It's a Shirley Temple, all grown up. It's said that Temple didn't like the drink that took her name. Here's hoping she liked the Dirty Shirley.

Ingredients

2 parts cherry vodka

4 parts lemon-lime soda

1 splash of grenadine

maraschino cherries and lime wedge for garnish

Directions

• Fill a rocks glass with ice.

• Add the vodka, lemon-lime soda and grenadine.

• Stir. Gently.

• Add maraschino cherries and the lime wedge for garnish.

• Sail away on the "Good Ship Lollipop."
