Ice cubes? We don't need no stinkin' ice cubes! Seriously, this Frozen Cherry Margarita is a revelation. Don't water down your margaritas anymore. Frozen fruit is the only way to go. Grab your cherries & let's get mixin'! Please note, this recipe makes two cocktails...or one, if you're thirsty & ambitious.
Ingredients
1 package (12 ounces) frozen pitted dark sweet cherries
4 ounces of Tequila
8 ounces of cherry juice
.5 ounces of lime juice
Coarse sugar & salt for the rim
Lime wedges for wetting the rim & garnish
Directions
Wipe the rims of your cocktail glasses with lime wedges.
Coat the rims with a mixture of coarse sugar & salt.
Combine the frozen cherries, tequila, cherry juice & lime juice in a blender.
Give it a quick blending.
Garnish with lime wedges.
Drink immediately. Like, right now!
