The Lemon Drop first emerged in San Francisco, sometime during the 1970's. A little sweet, a little sour...it's a light, refreshing cocktail and the sugared rim makes it all the more inviting. We've added a bit of food coloring to ours...a little extra touch that is completely optional.
When life hands you lemons, make a Lemon Drop Cocktail! 'Ready??
2 ounces of Vodka
.5 ounces of Triple Sec
1 ounce Simple Syrup
1 ounce of Lemon Juice
2 drops of yellow food coloring
Coarse sugar for the rim
Wet the rim of a martini glass with lemon juice and coat with coarse sugar.
Add the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake it up, baby.
Strain into the martini glass.
Pucker up & enjoy!
