There are many colors in the Mai Tai rainbow. Our version of this classic cocktail includes lots of citrus and lots of rum. It's great on a hot summer day...or on a cold winter day when you're wishing it was a hot summer day.
1.5 ounces of dark rum
1.5 ounces of light rum (you can use coconut rum)
2 ounces of orange juice
2 ounces of pineapple juice
The juice of half a lime
Maraschino cherries, pineapple chucks and orange slices for garnish
Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Strain into a collins glass with fresh ice.
Garnish with fruit.
