10 drops. Just 10 drops of Angostura Bitters can transform the appearance, flavor and aroma of a straight-forward Gin & Tonic. The Pretty Tony is pretty simple and pretty delicious. Let's get mixing!
Ingredients
2 ounces of Gin
The juice of half a lime
10 drops of Angostura Bitters
2 ounces of Tonic
Directions
Fill a glass with ice.
Add the Gin, lime juice & bitters.
Top off with tonic.
Enjoy!!
This is a great cocktail. With just 2 ounces of tonic, one of the few tonic drinks that serves in a rocks glass rather than a highball. As a great riff to add to your cocktail repertoire, try a spirit swap from gin to a tequila blanco! Instead of Angostura, use 5 dashes of orange bitters. The Bonito Antonio!
