The original Gin Sling appeared as early as 1790. By 1930, it had evolved into a Singapore Sling by way of the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel in, you guessed it, Singapore. It is sweet, refreshing and your first always leaves you wanting a second...and possibly a third.
1 ounce of Gin
.5 ounce of Cherry Brandy
.5 ounce of Grenadine
2 ounces of Sweet & Sour Mix
Club Soda to top
Pour Gin, Cherry Brandy, Grenadine & Sweet & Sour Mix into a highball glass with ice.
Top with Club Soda.
Garnish with Maraschino Cherries.
